“Normies” (people who don’t ever try to run their own business), have no idea…
Here’s the quick story.
I’m not a car guy by any means. As long as the car has heated seats, self-start, and all-wheel drive for the winter I’m good. But a friend of mine is. He’s got the expensive “rally” cars and loves taking them out. A neighbor immediately asked:
“Was he born with money??”.
Like most of you on my email list, you started from scratch.
And ya might already know capital has little to do with it.
You see, I HAD capital when I started wholesaling (sold a house and made some bank).
But I BLEW it all.
Not because I splurged on luxuries.
But because I had no idea HOW To use the money to “invest” in the business.
Having capital when you’re starting out can be dangerous.
(You might — like I did — avoid the hard work needed and spend the money on say direct mail cause it’s easier than just getting out there and talking to sellers — you might listen to a realtor or a wholesaler who says: “This is a GREEAT DEAL!” and buy the worst deal of the century)
That’s why I’m a fan of the “Profit First” attitude which tells you to pull a salary no matter what.
(it’s from a book called “Profit First”, if curious)
It forces you to be creative and use your resources when you don’t have money.
Anyway,
This might not have anything to do with “follow up”….
And that’s ok.
Hopefully, it helps you to think differently.
For now…
If you need a boost in IMAPCTFUL follow-up,add direct mail as a part for less than your phone bill.
