When anxiety grabs you by the balls

The other night, I woke up in a cold sweat.

I had anxiety.

Anxiety about making payroll (to myself), paying my contractors, ensuring my clients are happy with quicker delivery time, and having no predictable income for the month (so I thought).

(OmniDrip is not suffering by any means, it was a common emotional reaction to this sort of business).

Wholesalers/flippers have the same issue as me: It’s a churn business. Where I need new clients/deals every month to make the nut. I’m bringing this up because I’ve found a (logical) solution for those suffering from the same anxiety and “problem” in this sort of business…

I interviewed Alex Pardo recently…

Someone who had a wholesaling operation and suffered from the same anxiety: he had to close 2 deals per month just to make the monthly nut. He then saw that was not what he wanted and shut the doors. And moved into storage facilities.

Now…

I’m not saying that^ is your answer (maybe it is for you and your personality).

I’m saying it because when I dug deeper in the interview I discovered that he was also in the weeds of this business every day… for months. So I reaffirmed to myself that the sole job of a business is to scale up, remove yourself as much as possible, and be a CASH machine for investments (like storage).

If you don’t strive to do that^… you’ll be stuck “self-employment quadrant” and most don’t want that.

So the answer to your anxiety about making the monthly nut and having peace of mind can be boiled to this:

KPIs and consistency.

EVERYTHING in life is systems and KPIs. For deal generation, you can boil it down to conversion rate: How many leads do I need to make a deal? Once you know this it’s just a matter of being CONSISTENT with your activity.

Every time I get away from being consistent with my lead gen activity…

The anxiety kicks in and the unknown of “Am I going to make the nut?” starts to get a hold of the balls, twist them, and own them…

To master this emotion, get down to the bare bones of what you need to do to convert a deal.

Then do that activity every week, no matter what.

… speaking of which, If you need to optimize your time and deal conversion, then you know how I can help, right here.
